(update 08/04/15) Since this post was written Adam has accused me of racism as I asked him to chill out. Adam made up some hypothetical scenario to explain racism and was getting himself wound up arguing with himself. As pathetic as the situation seems, it really upset me – we are no longer buddies.
Met up with some buddies the other day to hang out, drink beer and of course a spot of photography. I love days like these; blistering hot, chilled out company and loads of photo related conversation. Of course there was the ritual drooling and fiddling with each others equipment and a jaunt to a couple of Leica shops to drool some more. Karla bought herself a rather nice sharkskin screwmount body and I found a must have Fokos for my Standard.
Really hope these photos capture some of the magic of the day.
Taken with Leica M3/Elmar 9cm and the Standard/Elmar 3.5 – Ilford FP4 developed in LC29. Just have to wait and see what the others have managed to capture of the day.
We didn’t just take photos of ourselves - we were uptown, I had my Standard. – Time for a spot of street photography !!
