Cloudy has gone superwide!

I have recently bought a lovely Voigtlander Heliar 15mm Super Wide lens for my Standard.

The focal distance makes my Skopar 21mm seem compact. With this wide angle I plan to only use Ektar or similar c41 colour film, so, due to the fact that I need at least 10 rolls of exposed film to make it worthwhile souping up the chemicals, uploads from the lens will be in bursts of vibrant colour every few months or so.

However I could not wait that long before developing a film from this amazing lens so i had to load a few shots of Fomapan 400 just to see how wonderful this lens is straight away!

In the photos below the skull and flower are just 30cm away from the film plane, literally a spread hands distance from the subject to the tip of the lens. So for street, I will literally be shooting over peoples shoulders just to get a close up interesting subject. This is going to be a very interesting and challenging lens to use, but results I have seen with it has totally blown me away. I’m now very excited and itching to get out and shoot :D
