Inspired by tales of ghosts and the eerie fens, me and the girlfriend ventured into medieval town of Ely. However, what we found was a totally delightful town, magnificent cathedral and tones and tones of ducks. We even found a picturesque house we were very tempted to rent, but sadly the landlord refused pets.
Photos taken on the Leica Standard/Voightlander 21mm Skopar, Fomapan 400 and developed in Fomadon.
I never managed to do Ely justice with this one roll, so another trip is on the cards very soon.
Ely Cathedral – loved the ray of light illuminating the Hymn numbers

I’ve posted this image at quite a considerable size so you can really appreciate the magnificent architecture
This could have easily been our dream home if only the landlord would allow my cat too.

I was very fortunate to have this wonderful gaggle of chicks and their mother waddle past me as i was photographing the house boats.
